You will need to have an initial behaviour consult with your dog before booking a support package. Clinical behaviour cases will only be taken on vet referral (see below). Behaviour packages are top-ups that provide support for differing lengths of time for established dog behaviour problems (e.g. separation anxiety, aggression towards humans, reactivity etc).
Sometimes owners contacting Nose To Trail are unsure if they need training or behaviour help. In this session one of the rehab trainers comes on your dog walk with you. During this time they observe your dog's body language and point out any signs that may indicate if your dog is stressed, nervous or worried by other dogs. You will be given tips on how to manage this or if it is required, you will be booked in for a behaviour consult.
All clinical behaviour consults require a vet referral. You can download the forms at the bottom of the page. The initial diagnostic session lasts around 2 hours and takes place over Zoom. After this you will be sent your written behaviour report and have a catch-up session 2 weeks later to see how you are progressing with your training.
There is an out of hours surcharge. Evening and weekend appointments are £500.
After your Initial Behaviour Consult if you would like to keep working with Rachel you can book a follow on package or 121s. Please note these are only available to customers who have had an initial behaviour consult.
